Stella Castañeda

Over 25 years of experience in Financial Services.

Stella has worked with a couple of Corporate Giants, Allstate, and Prudential Financial. After breaking out on her own, she started her own Agency, TimeWise Insurance. However, because she has been very involved with NAIFA (National Association for Insurance & Financial Association) and conducting presentations, she met the wonderful team of Elite Plus Financial. It was a match made in heaven. The team has the same great strategies that she believes in. She joined the team almost 14 years ago.


She is happily married to Joel Castañeda. They live in Corpus Christi. Joel is retired from the Corpus Christi Police Department and is a former Corpus Christi Police Officer Association President.

Stella is also a mother of 2 grown children, Monica (John) & Andy (Lilia). Between the two, she has 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She‌ ‌loves‌ ‌to‌ ‌read and learn more for her clients. She also enjoys‌ ‌watching‌ ‌movies and relaxing ‌at‌ ‌home‌ ‌with‌ ‌Joel.‌ ‌She‌ ‌also‌ ‌loves‌ ‌to‌ ‌spend‌ ‌time‌ ‌with‌ ‌all‌ ‌her‌ ‌other‌ ‌family. And always finds time for all her tech gadgets. Yet other loves include travel, music, and dance!

Even though she has worked at more than one company, she has a loyal following of clients from 19 years back. Before joining this industry, Stella owned her own business for 15 years. During that time, she was a Registered Representative for the American Heart Association, overseeing 13 counties and serving on their State Board. Years later, she also served on the NAIFA State Board and local Board. She is a local NAIFA Past President.  

Continuous Education is one of her passions, she has earned the LUTCF designation, graduated from the LILI course, the Allstate Business Institute, and the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). She continues to attend training virtually to stay current for her clients.

Most importantly, Stella's mission is to help you PROTECT your money and place it where it may GROW safely & securely. Regardless of your financial situation, Stella is trained to help anyone get on the path to becoming financially independent and secure with numerous tax-advantaged strategies.

Ray Scott

Ray's Bio:

Raymond has worked with several insurance companies in the last 15 yrs. He has chosen to become an insurance broker to offer a larger selection of companies and strategies for his clients. With all the economic changes in the markets, the country, and around the world, it’s more important than ever to find a stable environment for your money. He is happily married to Paula Scott. They live in Portland Texas with their two young sons ages ten and thirteen. Raymond loves spending time with family at the beach. He also enjoys traveling, watching movies, listening to music, and dining. Even though he has worked at a couple of companies, he still has some loyal clients from 15 years ago. He is appointed with over eighty companies, which allows us to give his clients more options. Raymond started his agency eight years ago and now has 15 agents working with him. They provide solutions for needs with products such as life insurance, disability, annuities, health, dental, and Medicare Advantage plans. Most importantly, Raymond’s mission is to treat you right in a safe secure environment.

Andy's Bio:

Andy is a proud father of five awesome children and a grandfather of two. He comes from a background of life insurance agents including his father, mother, sister, brother-in-law, and uncle, with over 50 yrs of combined experience of helping families such as yours. He believes life insurance is a need not a want. He wants to reach and help as many families as he can. He looks forward to helping you before it's too late. No one is promised tomorrow. 

Rose Ferris Mery

Rose's Bio:

Rose has served the community at many different levels and facets. Being a mom of two grown sons, and becoming single at the age of 47, presented her with many doubts and questions regarding financial freedom and security. In pursuit of this, she was able to
become debt-fr
ee, and it is her passion to guide others in helping them grow their financial portfolio with confidence and peace of mind, knowing that the future is bright. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and comes from a very large family, who are local
business owners. Rose believes that financial decisions rely on someone very knowledgeable in the products they represent, and also honest, confidential, and trustworthy when dealing with a client’s portfolio. She searched to find a company that stood for the same beliefs and representation that she had been longing for. It is a great honor to have finally found an insurance company like National Farm Life that places people above policy and works on behalf of their best interest to protect and grow clients’ monies.

She has also expanded her client services to include Financial Coaching as she continues to pursue her passions in helping others become better money managers and the "HERO" of their own story!

It is now my pleasure and honor to serve you and help you achieve your financial goals. There are many reasons that people buy life insurance, but one of the main reasons is to create a Legacy for yourself and your loved one’s. I know how important it is to leave a nest egg for my family and at the same time, be able to take care of myself and make sure that there is enough “love” left to share. Seeing what I was able to do with the little that I had, gave me a driving desire to help others plan for their future, and be successful.
